Hi! My name is Jen and my partner's name is Cameron. We are a 24​/​25 yr old couple currently located in Gympie. We are recent home owners (finished building in Dec 2024) who are currently realising how difficult it is to go away for important things whilst leaving behind our new home and animals with it. We both work from home so our house sees lots love and so do our pets. We currently own 2 dogs, 4 cats and 1 snake. So kind of like a mini zoo haha! We signed up to Luupo as we were having no success on other sites or reaching out to our local community- we understand that 7 animals can be a lot to take on for some people! Similar to majority of folks our age, we are very much home-bodies and would rather take our dogs for a walk then going to the pub for a drink. We love all sorts of laid back things, video games, walking on the beach, taking photos of our animals and food and going on long road trips to new and old places. We currently need a sitter as Cameron has a very important surgery coming up in Sydney, which then involves us staying there for three weeks so that he can attend post-op appointments. We would very much appreciate any help leading up to this very important time for him.

Home & Garden care

Our house is recently built and we currently have no garden to tend to. The only home care needed would be for the hallway walls to be cleaned when need be as the dogs love to rub their coats along them. As well dust may build up on the fans so you may need to wipe them as well. Just keeping the house all in all clean while you stay- nothing perfect, is enough for us. Mowing the lawn wont be necessary unless there is a large rainfall while we’re gone.

Our orange tabby Meeko sometimes has his allergies flair up and has an eye swell up. All you’ll need to do it wipe it with a warm wet paper towel (he’ll hate it but it has to happen) at least once every two hours till it goes down.

Our neighbourhood​/​estate is brand new so everybody is still familiarising with each other. We have noticed that there are a fair few families with young kids, so it’s always lively (a good lively).
